Our Story
Royal Tea began its journey in 2017 with a single store on Kloof Street in Cape Town, aiming to introduce contemporary Chinese tea culture to South Africa. Since then, we’ve grown and now have locations in the V&A Waterfront, Cavendish Mall in Claremont, The Riverlands Mall in Observatory, and Rosebank in Johannesburg.
Our curated menu presents an authentic selection of tea based beverages made from high grade, fresh ingredients; from classic bubble tea to refreshing fruit infused green teas. We also offer a selection of specialty cakes, desserts and soft serve ice-creams.

As a princess from the mysterious Kingdom of Cha, she has been sent on a Royal mission: to learn more about the world outside of Cha and the share her love for tea with everyone she meets.
